How Do I Get Started as a Volunteer at Foster Elementary?

The school sets the requirements for volunteer approval, which are designed to keep our kids safe. The Volunteer Application is an annual requirement. 

• All forms are printed out/available at the front desk of the front office. You may also print at home (see forms below). 

• Live Scan is only needed once for Category D volunteers (which includes field trips!)

• For Category C volunteers (just about everything else), you need the following:

  • Volunteer Application

  • TB Assessment by the School Nurse (takes just a few minutes unless there is a risk identified)

  • Mandatory Reporter Training (see info sheet below - takes about 20 mins to complete)

  • Scanned ID by the front office. (If you come at pick up or drop off, you may end up waiting longer for assistance)

• Return the forms together directly to Principal McGrath-Camacho.
