With your support, the PTA helps to fund enrichment programs directly benefiting students, teachers, and staff.
Below you can find a list of active programs for the school year.
The music program at Foster is supported by the Villa Musica non-profit organization. Through their partnership with the PTA and Foster Elementary, Villa Musica makes music accessible through education, performance, and community engagement.
Skilled art teachers in the Art Beat Art Education program specialize in art sessions on campus for students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. Curriculum consists of drawing skills, watercolor art, sculpture, and painting. The basis of this program is to introduce children to a variety of art forms to allow them to express their unique artistic perspectives, while gaining more artistic and technical knowledge.
At Foster Elementary, we believe every child should have the chance to explore the full journey of food—planting seeds, nurturing growth, enjoying fresh harvests, preparing meals, and finding ways to give back to the earth. Each year the PTA sets aside a portion of our annual budget to fund different programs and activities that focus in this area of development and engagement.
Join us at the run club every morning at 7:30am where students, parents, and teachers get their blood pumping by running, walking, or skipping laps around the field. This is a great way to get those wiggles out and be better prepared for a day of learning at school.
Teacher & Staff Appreciation
Each year the Foster PTA provides funds for each teacher to purchase classroom supplies, hosts a welcome back lunch to kick off the school year, and recognizes their commitment to our students with personalized gifts.
In addition to funding programs for students, teachers, and staff, the Foster PTA also works hard to improve the school campus with beautification projects and upgrades.
